The Livingstone College W-S Alumni Chapter – at its recent chapter meeting – prepared exam (care) packages for students from W-S to include: water, nabs, popcorn, chips, crackers and cheese, cookies, fruit snacks, sweet & salty mix, tooth brush & toothpaste and chewing gum (along with a note of encouragement).

The packages will be delivered to students prior to their final exams.

The LCNAA W-S Alumni Chapter has reserved a block of seats (40) for the Barn Dinner Theatre performance, Crowns on Saturday, August 6, 2016.

If you plan to attend, please complete the form at the link below and indicate how many tickets to reserve for you, then mail your check (made out to: W-S Alumni Chapter) to Nigel Alston at the address below.

We plan to have a final count and all money collected by July 8, 2016 with the final payment due to the Barn Dinner Theatre by July 15th. Seating is at 6:15 PM.

This stand-up-and-testify musical is a soul stirring tribute to the unique cultural phenomenon that fuses faith with fashion by celebrating African-American women and their church hats. This inspirational story will lift your spirits and enlighten the younger folk on the unique history and spiritual pride associated with the “crowns” of the strong women of the South.

The group rate (20 or more people) is $46.00 per adult seat, and includes the meal, show, tax and gratuity. It is important to note that fewer than 20 increases the per seat price to $51 per person.

A group of 8 or more, and less than 20, requires them to add $10 for a gratuity.
