LCNAA Mentoring Project Pilot . . .

Student-Page-Header

We are ready to begin the pilot phase of our mentoring initiative. You are encouraged to review a summary of the Pilot Plan for the LCNAA Mentoring Project including a Mentor Application form and Livingstone’s Volunteer form.

Please print these two forms then fill them out and return them to the school by U.S. mail (Livingstone College, Office of the Success Center, 701 W. Monroe Street, Salisbury, NC 28144) or fax to 704-216-6932, attn: Sylvester Kyles. Please return these by January 4, 2016 so we can begin matching mentor’s and mentees at the start of the semester.

Please share this information with anyone interested in being a mentor. Now is the time for Alumni to step up and give a helping hand to Livingstone students.

In order to provide an opportune time for mentors and mentees to meet face-to-face with each other, there will be a luncheon held in the event center on campus immediately following the Founder’s Day Convocation on February 11, 2016.

If possible, please plan now to attend.

Ideally, a mentor should meet in person, if possible , but it is not necessary to participate in the program. However, if a face-to-face meeting is not possible, a skype call would be satisfactory.

If you have questions, please contact Delores M. Johnson, LCNAA President at  dmjohnson081@gmail.com.

Note: If you are interested in participating in the mentoring program to develop students, strengthen their skills and facilitate their growth, complete this mentoring interest form.
